Edge of the World Theatre Festival – Festival Director
Part of an energized team producing Los Angeles’ largest theatre festival involving over 44 productions. Helped to create marketing strategy and festival budget; put together the peer review panel involving Los Angeles’ most elite theatre members; organized citywide meeting reviewing terms of the new festival for applicants and involved in city planning logistics.
Deaf Arts Council – administrator and director at Multimedia Arts Camp in conjunction with CBS/Ren-Mar Studios. Worked with senior director to create and execute vision of the program.
WRITING EXPERIENCE
“Cozenage” - Actors Theater of Louisville
Nominated for a Heideman Award, “Cozenage” beat out over 1500 submissions to be part of the Actors Annual Showcase/10 minute play competition at the Tony Award winning theater in Louisville.
“In the Middle of a Movie”
Wrote a short story about the project that was selected and published through the Finnish National Gallery/Museum of Contemporary Art, and premiered at the Helsinki Film Festival in 2004.
Feature writer/theatre critic – New York Casting magazine
Interviewed/wrote feature stories on “Rosalind Kind” (Barbra Streisand’s sister), Donna Murphy and a feature about actors at the New York Renaissance Festival. Wrote several theatre reviews for New York Casting.
