Hilari has managed to shapeshift throughout her lifetime in dozens of domiciles, skipping happily through theatre, film and television as a performer, writer, director and producer. She has also limped and lumbered at times, but this website is meant to highlight her accomplishments. If you Google "Hilari Scarl" to try to dig up dirt on her, you will find tidbits on WORLDPLAY and PAVING THE WAY, her involvement with The Edge of the World Theatre Festival, triathlon times and her winning answer for a trivia quiz. What you won't find is that she is no longer THE GIRL FROM NOWHERE since she has maintained the same address in Los Angeles for over ten years. You also won't see that she debuted in a Wes Craven film as a screaming tree, performed as Jack’s sign language interpreter in a Jack in the Box commercial, was directed by Errol Morris in a national UC Lending bank commercial and was seen fire eating with the rock band Powder at the House of Blues.
